Anderson Valley seems to be fond of the creamy, caramel flavor. It was distinct in the Winter Solstice and also pronounced in their Summer Solstice. This one poured a nice amber, with a thick white head. The caramel hits you right away along with a slight bit of hops. When you taste it, the first thing you think of is an orange cream soda or creamsicle. It has a light body and a refreshing finish. At 5% ABV, this is definitely a nice backyard beer. Anderson Valley makes it in both bottles and cans. I think a can of this while playing some backyard games or mowing the lawn on a warm day would be just about perfect. I liked this beer quite a bit. I give it 4 out of 5 proper pints.
